About Us

Welcome to NouVieux! My name is Bethany Rosenstern, and NouVieux is my dream come true! I was born and raised in Jonoesboro, LA, and after graduating from Louisiana Tech, I moved to Baton Rouge. For the last decade I've been a wife and mother to my two boys.

I've always loved beautiful furniture and accessories, especially antiques. When browsing through antique shops, I often think about the life that each piece has lived through the years. I wonder, "Who has sat, rested, wept and laughed on this sofa? From chateaus to castles and ships, where have these pieces traveled?" Every item has a story. My dream is to find these pieces and then give them new stories!

Every item in our collection is a fine European antique. When you take a photo with one of the NouVieux pieces, you are sitting on something that's been around for centuries. And now, you are part of it's story!
